Your responsibilities and tasks:

SUMMARY
Manages the evaluation of GEA products for quality, with regard to conformity to required specification for the Pharma, Chemical, Beverage, Food and Dairy industries. Assists in the development of quality control standards. Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To fully understand the required quality standards by studying product and customer specifications with other members of management and with engineers, technicians and Project Supply Chain 
To use and maintain a formal set of procedures, work instructions and standards for Quality Control activity in the country
To maintain material control standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements to ensure conformity with required specifications.
To implement   in-process product inspection standards.
To ensure that full traceability of all materials and components is maintained as required, and is fully documented throughout all areas of activity, including stainless steel materials, bought-out-items and sub-assemblies.
To give final approval for dispatch of equipment at third party workshops.
To assist with supplier audits in order to assess their suitability for inclusion in the Company's supply chain about product quality.
To maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time that are compatible with your status, skills, experience and qualifications.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
To plan the Quality Control activities in conjunction with the manufacturing and supply chain teams, in order to ensure the optimum utilization of available resources and timely completion of those activities.
To build upon the culture of continuous improvement to deliver ongoing and sustainable improvements in quality control systems and management.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor is Degree in Engineering with an emphasis on Quality Control, a related technical field, or near equivalent.
5+ years of work experience in a Quality Control environment.
Proven leadership and organizational abilities.
Experience with FDA, Pharmaceutical, Dairy and International Quality System rules and regulations, including planning and implementation.
Must have working knowledge of NDE on welding and surface finish verifications
Must be able to interpret drawings and verify dimensional and orientations of fabricated equipment
Must be familiar with working in fabrication environments for both carbon and stainless workshops.
Must possess good interpersonal skills, the ability to take initiative, maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines and work well in a team setting, as well as independently as required.
Spanish mother tongue.  Must possess good English language communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have working knowledge of MS Office products. Experience of SAP-based ERP systems an advantage.
Must be self-motivated.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
