As an Auditor, you will be responsible for the application of food safety and regulatory requirements and principles against established standards and protocols. The position requires strong communication. Applicants must have extensive knowledge of the food and feed producing industry. You will be initiating and conducting on-site audit activities at our clients. You will be responsible for the document review as well as preparing and distributing your audit findings in an audit report.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Auditing
- Verification and review of documents
- Reporting audit results
- Conducting audit follow-up
- Pre-processing certification decisions
- Maintaining good relation with the clients
- Responding to function-related requests from clients
- Internal coordination and coordinating with the clients
- Assistance with handling of claims & appeals
- Maintaining upto date files in the system + hardcopy as per procedures
- Record keeping and storage of files, while maintaining traceability
- Keeping abreast of developments, issues and legislative changes pertaining to agriculture and related sectors
- Marketing and Business Development activities
- Auditing

Requirements
- Graduate in Food Science/ Food Technology
- Minimum experience of 5 years in Food industry (only production/ quality control/ quality assurance/ R&D would be considered as relevant)
- Experience of conducting Internal Audits
- Experience of facing External Audits
- An IRCA recognized Lead Auditor course for ISO 22000/ ISO 9001 is advantageous
- Experience and knowledge of food safety certification schemes would be an added advantage
- Good command of English: in speech and in writing
- Excellent report writing, presentation skills
- Resourceful, fast learner with strong interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Willingness to travel extensively (upto 15-20 days per month) across India
- Graduate in Food Science/ Food Technology
