Position Summary

This position will be in charge of implement the adequate human and infra structure resources, including the management and execution Budget and Capex processes for QC laboratories in all Symrise S&C plants.

Qualificações

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement the adequate human and infra structure resources for all QC laboratories in all Symrise S&C plants;
• Lead, train and provide feedback/coach to develop and retain talents to the QC area;
• Establish and maintain trustworthy relationship with internal and external CQ stakeholders, such as business partners and interface areas and LATAM team;
• Lead the QC daily routine, hold and release of S&C products assuring QC facilities maintenance to enable efficient and safe work flows;
• Lead QC improvement and efficiency projects ensuring the application of state-of-the-art instrumentation aligned with global standards;
• Rollout Global tools and projects related to the area of application and ensure proper analytical support for development projects and production;
• Ensure successful participation in inter lab studies organized by authorities, associations, customers for most important QC methods;
• Establish and apply qualification tests for sensory / analytical micro labs;
• Ensure the accomplishment of quality control targets and goals;
• Ensure the good laboratory practices and the application of standard QC procedures;
• Ensure the accomplishment of QC roles and responsibilities.

Skills & Abilities

• Experience in leadership of multidisciplinary groups, sensory and analytical expertise;
• Good Communication, interpersonal skills and organization;
• Lean management, strategic planning and continuous improvement capabilities
• Troubleshooting skills regarding analytical and sensory subjects
• Experience in quality Control of vegetable oils, fragrances and cosmetic ingredients knowledge Fragrances sensory knowledge and skills;
• At least 2 years of experience in QC coordination.

Academic background

• Graduated in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering or correlate technical areas;
• Specialization in Cosmetics, Fragrances, quality and microbiology is desirable;
• Fluent English and Spanish.

Location: São Paulo, with additional responsibility in Benevides/ PA and Sorocaba/ SP.
