The team for you to join

You will be part of our LATAM Regulatory Affairs structure, with focus in our Plant Health Protection business, contributing to Chr. Hansen growth & competitiveness by enabling market access with speed, compliance & identifying regulatory opportunities while protecting the reputation of Chr. Hansen and of its customers.

 

What would your role look like?

  1. Responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations pertaining to the registration, application and use of biopesticides and soil inoculants.
  2. Conduct Chr. Hansen’s overall authorizations, registration and post-registration activities in the LATAM region: write and/or review and maintain dossiers and files for registration, EUP and other related approvals in close collaboration with HQ and external partners and consultants.
  3. Monitor the progress of registration submission and approvals, as well as provide technical support to meet requirements during the analysis of processes by the regulatory authorities.
  4. Regulatory point of contact for related customers and partners. Facilitate and support customers when necessary, in connection with product registration and other liaisons with local authorities.
  5. Provide support to business on regulatory requirements for the supply, sale, import or export of products.
  6. Provide regulatory support for obtention of import permits and supervise Contract Research Organizations and Regulatory Consultants.  
  7. Monitor current legislation and regulatory changes affecting company products while supporting and communicating to appropriate inter-company stakeholders.
  8. Analyze and review labels and labelling texts.
  9. Maintain regulatory commitments/documents provided to customers in connection with regulatory submissions in the LATAM region. Archiving of all documents provided to customers or authorities on SharePoint, S-drive and databases as applicable.
  10. Assists in the operation of systems and procedures to ensure timely and accurate data collection, maintenance and delivery of consistent regulatory information throughout the organization.
  11. Provide support to the whole LATAM Regulatory department with routine/daily tasks, such as: SFDC customer cases; Fluig product registrations; Safety Data Sheets; SharePoint, S-drive and other database

 

Who are we looking for?

  1. Possess basic understanding of applicable regulations (specially Brazil);
  2. Intermediate proficiency level for English, pre-intermediate for Spanish. Fluent in Portuguese;
  3. Possess a working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs;
  4. At least one year regulatory experience;
  5. Complete degree in Food Engineering, Pharmacy, Agronomy or related areas.
