Process Engineer (C&T - Care & Treats) - Especialista de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento Jr – Pet Nutrition – Mogi Mirim, SP
The Process Engineer in our Pet Nutrition Care and Treats lines is a key member of the Site R&D Team and responsible for Q&FS and PPI (Product & Packaging Innovation) for this technology.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree of technology or engineering education
- Understanding of processes and materials
- Quality & Food Safety background
- Solid knowledge about manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional projects
- Knowledge in processing technology
- Statistical methods & applications
- Office knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook) and System SAP
- Very good English communication skills, desirable basic Spanish
- Robust technical and scientific knowledge about CCPs and OPRPs.
Preferred:
- Experience in a Food Manufacturing environment working in process/product and interfaces with Quality, Food Safety, Engineering or Product/Process Development
- Legal major topics understanding is desirable
What would be your key responsibilities?
- Local Process/Product technical leadership in continuous improvement, efficiency, Do It Best Initiatives and deployment of regional activities on Site in Care & Treats technologies.
- Local Process/Product adaptation to assure fulfilment of the established specifications.
- Support/lead plant trials for all process, product and packaging formats and provide key technical input into the implementation and assurance of any corporate Q&FS standards (current or new).
- Close cooperation and exchange with R&D local and regional (Q&FS, PDI, RFM, Packaging), the local site QFS team and supply team (Engineering, Maintenance, Operations) to ensure that the knowledge is transferred, and the systems, standards (internal & external), procedures and controls are established.
- Be the R&D contact for process, product, packaging and quality discussions, building strong relationship for overall business benefit.
