Your Future Position?
Givaudan, the world leader in the Flavors Industry values the importance of finding just the right candidate to join our Flavors Product Safety and Regulatory Assurance (PSRA) organization. Are you passionate about providing superior customer service both internally and externally? In this position, you will be able to review, update and approve technical documents to ensure products provided to our customers and ultimately the consumers comply with all government regulations. You’ll get to work with the industry’s best talent and across functions. Plus, collaborate with all functional and operating groups on labeling issues and regulatory compliance matters.
- Bring your Passion: Provide accurate product specific technical documentation for customer requests (i.e. MSDS, Allergen Statements, Range Breakdowns, Continuing Guarantees, customer questionnaires, etc.). Assist in the preparation of the required paperwork for USDA sketch, temporary and generic label approvals. Provide technical information to assist with the determination of product eligibility for export and the development of export certificates as requested.
- Collaborate with others: Assist in the development of ingredient statements and allergen statements that meet the appropriate FDA/USDA requirements. Work closely with appropriate rabbinical authorities to ensure the products comply with Kosher requirements. Assure all the required regulatory documentation is obtained for all new raw materials and all the necessary departmental approvals are received.
- Drive Efficiencies and Operational Excellence: Support the development of nutritional information and validation of updated vendor nutritional information. This includes ensuring compliance with nutrient content claims and implied nutrient content claims. Obtain and maintain Kosher documentation for finished products. Obtain approval of international labels.

Your professional profile includes:
- B.S. or B.A. in Food Science, Nutrition, Business or related field required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of food industrial experience in labeling or regulatory affairs.
- Familiarity of FDA and USDA label regulations and documentation requirements.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Good knowledge of food product development and processes and food safety and allergens.
- Team player who is capable of functioning in a corporate environment, and who is proactive and goal-oriented in driving business growth.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Windows (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint) “Genesis” and other regulatory specific applications.
