BASF is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated QA Coordinator for our Agricultural Products Division. You will be working at our manufacturing facility located in Ames, IA.
Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator – (1800881) – Ames, IA
Where you'll work…
As a QA Coordinator, you will be a key contributor to the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QC) activities for our Ames, IA production site. You will develop and deliver quality related training, as well as coordinate our quality management system (QMS) internal audit program. You will also report on non-conformances related to raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
Formula for Success: You Will…
Generate/update QMS documentation (specifications, nonconformance records, MOCs, etc.)
Be a key administrator to our document control system
Track and report on department key performance indicators (KPI)
Coordinate and investigate non-conformances
Act as back-up support for inspection of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods using established methods
Coordinate QC activities related to aged inventory

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
BA/BS Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or Related Field
1+ years of experience in a laboratory setting
Ability to distinguish colors
Strong attention to detail
We Also Look For…Experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience in quality assurance/ISO 9001
Experience with SAP, or other MRP system
Previous leadership experience
