Auditor Agriculture & Food Products

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible to perform audits against a range of accredited (Organic, Global GAP etc) as well as against client bespoke programs. You will be responsible for planning and conducting audits in accordance to Control Union’s procedures to enable delivery certification services that meet customer requirements.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Conducting audits against a range of accredited (Organic, Global GAP etc ) and client bespoke standards
• Produce audit reports, within target timeframe
• Ensure that all client's inquiries are handled with in a timely manner and provide a good customer service
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure a quality and efficient service
• Understand the market including opportunities and constraints

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in auditing in the agricultural and food production sector in positions related to auditing, quality assurance, certifications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Being able to plan efficiently and also change plans on a short notice
• Successful completion of an ISO 9000 Lead Assessor course
• Degree in a food or agricultural discipline or as a minimum have successfully completed a higher education course in a related discipline.
• Ability to travel extensively
